# ProcessOB3PRetention documentation

ProcessOB3PRetention is a scheduled .NET Framework 4.8 console application that finds third-party (3P) claims whose documents are due for retention-policy deletion, submits them in batches to the OnBase Third Party Archival Service, and marks the corresponding retention records as processed in the Imaging API. It is invoked by a scheduler with three optional named date arguments (`Day`, `Month`, `Year`) that default to the current date.
